IQ Plus Brain: Should you Spend your Money?
I recently saw IQ Plus Brain in an email that I received as I am always looking for the latest supplements on the market. I have had plenty of experience with supplements and discovered that many of them are complete scams and decided to explore the options on the market and write reviews in order to help others make a more educated decision when purchasing. I realized that a high percent of the supplements on the market are actually far from effective or safe not to mention the shady tactics that the companies that sell them use to convince you that this is exactly what you need. Of course with IQ Plus Brain I had my concerns but certainly I was not going to let that stop me from digging deeper. Looking online it seemed they were getting a strong hold on the market and figured that many will be looking for a real review of the product before purchasing.
What I found was far from impressive. Though the supplement actually looks great and effective the way they market it is very unpleasant. They lie far too much and try and trick you into purchasing a product without actually providing you with any real information about it. There is very little information about the actual ingredients or how the product works which is far from what I was looking for.
Why I am VERY Skeptical
I always try and give every supplement the benefit of the doubt because you never know what will be effective. Unfortunately the official IQ Plus Brain website makes it incredibly difficult to trust as they offer little to no information about the supplement itself and use rather shady tactics to try and sell their product. There are a number of website today selling similar supplements that use these same tactics which include photoshopped images of magazine covers and using names of celebrities to claim that they use their product and stand behind it.
Unfortunately if you dig deep enough you will always find exactly what you need and that is the truth. In many cases these claims are easily debunked when you do a quick search online to find the real information. I have found horrible claims and magazine covers for IQ Plus Brain from a number of websites. This leads me to believe that this product is not effective enough to actually sell itself that they have to go about these horrible tactics.
The lack of information provided has also completely turned me off. The do add a bit more information about how it is all natural and a 100% pure Phosphatidylserine Complex but that’s just about it. They just discuss their benefits and their selling points. Here are some of the results you should expect as per the official website:
What has completely put me at ease is the fact that they provide very little information. Aside from their plethora of selling points the only other thing I learned was that it contains 100% pure Phosphatidylserine Complex and that it is 100% natural. Unfortunately they don’t provide much more except for the benefits of taking IQ Plus Brain:
- Better Mental Recall
- Super Boost in Energy
- Brain will React Faster
- Better Mood
- Overall Improved health
- Incredible Focus
- Overall Improvement of Brain and Memory
This all sounds fantastic and honestly if they had provided a bit more information about the ingredients and generally how they work I would have been sold. I like to be able to check out the ingredients individually in order to determine which are effective and safe and which to look out for. I am sure many more of their potential customers feel the same.
Of course, for the sake of this review I did order a bottle in order to get more information about the ingredients as well as test out the product myself. I think several days are more than enough to determine whether it is an effective supplement and to provide you with further information about the results. One thing I did like about the product and the website is that they don’t have any shady auto-ship programs which usually completely turn me off the moment I see them. Whatever you do don’t get caught up in the “free” trials which put you in a loophole of charges and shipments of a product you probably won’t use.
I Ordered, I Tried, and here are the Results
Shipping of my bottle of IQ Plus Brain was very quick and I received it within 3 days of my purchase. Of course, the first thing I did was check out the ingredients on their Supplement Facts sheet on the back of the bottle. The ingredients are safe with only minimal normal side effects which show up very rarely. One thing that did stand out though was how similar it was to the Neuro 3x bottle which I tried several months ago. The ingredients are identical as well. Perhaps the way the combined the ingredients is what makes this supplement different.
Ingredients in IQ Plus Brain:
- Johns Wort
- Glutamine
- Bacopa Monnieri
- Ginkgo Biloba
- Aceyl L-Carnitine
- Dimethylaminoethanol Bitatrate
- Vinpocetine
So, after I took the supplement I set a timeframe of 2 weeks. I wanted to see if I would see some sort of result, some sort of boost, perhaps an improved IQ. Unfortunately aside from a slight energy boost I really didn’t experience anything outstanding. I guess my focus was slightly more to point and I got distracted less than usual but generally I can’t say it was some breathtaking experience. I am guessing it starts to take effect over time as you take the supplement. Overall, I was generally unimpressed. One thing to remember is that as the ingredients are natural it’s normal for results to vary.
Watch Out for the Fake Commenter’s and Reviewers
I think this goes for all supplements on the market. Actually, I think this supplement may be effective but the way they broadcast it and market it make me question not only the company but the product as well. Though on the official website there were no comments or option to comment I did research the product throughout the internet and found that there are numerous websites and reviews written on the product. It’s almost scary the sort of things that I found including photoshopped images of famous magazine covers and even quotes for A-list celebrities saying that they couldn’t live without IQ Plus Brain. Of course this isn’t necessarily the companies doing but it definitely does not put them in good light. I found numerous “positive” comments and when I decided to comment I was unable to as they were locked and reviews which made it seem like your IQ will skyrocket.
My Conclusion
Don’t take my word for it. I think it’s important that everyone does their own research before making a purchase. I have provided the information that I have found and my personal experience. I feel that results may be different depending on who takes IQ Plus Brain. My problem with this supplement isn’t necessarily with the product itself but rather with the tactics used to sell it.
One thing that did impress me was that they don’t have a “free” trial but rather just the option to purchase direct and you simply select which package you want:
- 5 Bottles – 5 Month Supply
- 3 Bottles – 3 Month Supply
- 1 Bottle – 1 Month Supply
There is also a 60 day money back guarantee which is available for purchases of 3 or more bottles as I can’t imagine it being for 1 bottle purchases. I honestly wasn’t counting on getting my money back and didn’t even attempt it.
All in all, I am a strong believer that you should not trust what you read online, including me. Do research on your own and decide whether this is a suitable supplement for you. It may not have had much effect on me but that doesn’t necessarily mean the results will be the same with you. I do think that the ingredients are suitable for the benefits they listed and may be effective unfortunately I do think that the official IQ Plus Brain website is using very shady marketing techniques which may turn off many potential customers.
